Well, I did get to that craft show this weekend at the McNeil Mansion over on State Street. I must confess, I didn't go there to buy anything....I went there to see the inside, and WOW!!!! What a beautiful home. I also ended up spending money. They had such nice things and I could have easily spent more but I restrained myself. There were nice Christmas decorations and some to die for jewelry, and yummy taste treats to buy in the most magnificent kitchen I have ever seen. One of the front parlor rooms had beautiful knitted items for sale and pleasant smelling candles and soaps. The whole place smelled yummy!!! I did purchase two Christmas gifts but couldn't help but splurge on a pair of earrings for myself and a heavily (and heavenly) scented "pumpking spice" candle. For the two Christmas gifts (little extra gifties for a couple family members) I bought a cute little knitting kit. A chinese food box stuffed with yarn and two knitting needles arranged like chopsticks with the pattern tucked in. On the pattern is the web address of a learn to knit site. I just thought it was an adorable craft and a perfect gift for a couple young ladies that I know. See photo below.
